In early September, Microsoft had launched a new type of mouse called Bluetrack which is dubbed to run on practically any surface including granite, marble and carpet. It emits a massive blue beam from an LED and uses wide-angle “specular optics architecture"(also read lens) which enhances its sensitivity and precision. It is targeted more towards mobile users and this accounts for its small form factor and wireless adaptor.
