The drag and drop tool can used easily to upload files on to Skydrive which now offers you 25Gb of free online space. Unfortunately due to its ActiveX implementation, it can be run only in Internet Explorer and there is no proper work around till date. Some forums suggested the use of IE tabs, an addon for Firefox that uses the Internet Explorer Rendering Engine, hence enabling you to use ActiveX. While it is shown to have rendered Windows Update properly, the Skydrive website renders horrendously in it. The private folders are not shown. There is no option for you to upload new files too. Note that the option for this addon does not show up in any browser other than IE.
