Quake Live #2

Today, finally i received my invitation for Quake Live. It has been over 3-4 months since i had given my email id. Anyway, you need to go through 2 registrations – one for id beta and other for Quake live. Following that you will have to download a 3mb plug in and then another 30 mins download(in my 512kbps connection) for pre caching. This will load a demo game for you.It is a practice arena where you have to play with a single bot.Then you will have to download another 170 mins worth files before you actually with other players in the internet.The game play is very smooth. It is just like playing Quake 3 on your computer. There is almost 0 latency.You can also play full screen if you want to. Id has definitely made a new avatar of a classic here.
